2021 Benefits Open Enrollment

                            •Employee Information                             •Retiree Information

The Annual Benefits Open Enrollment period is Friday October 23 through Friday
November 13.

This Open Enrollment period is only for County health plans and County provided benefits. Due to the small percentage of actual changes at Open Enrollment and critical budget constraints, we will no longer be printing and mailing an entire Open Enrollment package to all employees at their homes. We will be transitioning this year to limited home mailing, communications via global email, information posted on-line and where the employee updates their communications preferences, to home or email addresses.

If you are not making any changes, you should log onto the My OC BenefitsTM  to review the many resources and your current coverage to ensure you have the coverage you and/or your family will need. If you don't make any changes during this Open Enrollment period, you will not be able to make any changes until the next Open Enrollment unless you have a Qualified Life Event (QLE), that will allow such changes.

Is this your first time accessing the My OC BenefitsTM website?

  • Go to My OC BenefitsTM through the County's Intranet, IntraOC, using Chrome, Edge or Firefox. No additional password is needed. Once logged in, look for the "Action Needed" banner at the top of your screen.
  • You can also access My OC BenefitsTM at mybenefits.ocgov.com. If this is your first time logging in, select "New User?". Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) and your date of birth (MM-DD-YYYY). Next, follow the prompts to create your user ID and password. You can also set up a PIN which you will use when you call the Benefits Service Center for information or assistance.
  • For help with navigating My OC BenefitsTM you can find the Quick Reference Guide on your Home page, towards the bottom.
  • Once you are logged in, it is a good time to set your communication preferences. You can choose to receive important information via either the USPS mail or email. You will have a secure mailbox on My OC BenefitsTM where you will find follow-up to chats or Benefits Service Center responses. These messages are personalized for you. If you have chosen email as your communication preference, you will receive an email whenever you have a message to view. If you happen to change your email address, update it here. You will never miss any mail coming your way!

Call the new Benefits Service Center at 1-833-476-2347 to speak to a representative who can answer your questions and/or take your elections over the phone. They are available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Friday, PT except holidays. During Open Enrollment  hours will be extended until 8 p.m.
