Other Things to Consider

Recent Benefit Employee Events between April 1 and May 31, 2020

If you were recently hired, retired, promoted, or had a change in employment status that affects your benefits your event may be in the process of being transitioned from the old Benefits Center to the new Benefits Service Center. You will receive your event notification shortly after June1, which will allow you the required time to make elections if needed.

If you did not make your elections prior to 05/22/2020 please call the Benefits Service Center at 1-833-476-2347 and a representative can assist you (in some cases further research and data verification may be required before you make final elections, however a representative will escalate for research and resolution).

If you made an election and received a correct Confirmation of Benefits reflection your 2020 coverage, nothing further is required from you at this time. To verify your coverage you can call or visit My OC Benefits ™ at mybenefit.ocgov.com.

Month Direct Billing - Employees on unpaid leave of absence, COBRA participants:

You may have been sent an invoice in April for May coverage from the former Benefits Center. If applicable, the new Benefits Service Center will mail your next invoice around June 15, which will be for June and July coverage. If payment for May coverage was not received by the given deadline, you will have coverage cancelled back to May1, 2020. If you have questions, concerns or need further assistance and a Benefits Service Center representative was unable to assist you please leave a message on the Employee Benefits Message Line at 714-834-6282 and an Employee Benefits representative will return your call within business day.
